Does the Free tier have limits?

No hard scan limits. The Free tier includes unlimited head scans (working tree / on-demand) locally and in CI. Deep history scans, live verification, alerting, and the team dashboard are Pro features.

Does my code leave my machine?

Never. Credfence runs on your infrastructure. Free is fully local. Pro verification only sends token hashes to provider APIs. Enterprise offers air-gapped on-prem.

What is live verification?

Pro checks whether found credentials are still active by calling provider APIs. It answers: "rotate this NOW" vs "already revoked, low urgency."
